Chanticleer Holdings, Inc., is a holding company that looks to buy whole companies using a value-based approach. Through its subsidiary, Chanticleer Advisors, it looks to invest in opportunities that are either privately held or small and micro-cap publicly-traded companies using the same value-based approach. Structured as an operating company, it was launched by President & CEO, Mike Pruitt, in June of 2005 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Its subsidiary, Chanticleer Advisors, LLC, was formed in 2006.
Chanticleer Holdings specializes in the application of a holistic, bottom-up approach to value investing in small and micro-cap companies. It pursues acquisitions and investments in companies that possess the following core characteristics:
